There is an inherent poetry in the eyes of human beings. There is a song in the way in which we move. My attempt to photograph people is really a quest to capture a fleeting moment so that we can enjoy life's music, forever. Portraits 2013 is a collection of stills that I've been fortunate enough to create over the course of the past year. Portraiture as a form of expression communicates dual stories simultaneously. The first, and most obvious, is the joy or despair expressed on the face of the person whom is photographed. The second is the emotion of the photographer who was charged with painting that person with light. My goal with this collection is to celebrate that balance and to inspire discussion.
I capture the fleeting moments in life and in love so that we may all rewind and relive the truth spun how we want to remember it. I find the poetry in street photography to be therapeutic and my portrait work is more than just capturing the person...its about capturing the personality and the brand so that your audience may better understand You.
