About the Book
A heavy January snowfall fell on New York City. Passersby struggled to make it through the flakes and drifts. Children, adults, and dogs weathered the storm, adding sparkling color and intriguing shapes to a wintry white background.
I am an author and a self-taught photographer. My works favor nature, as well as a wide range of other lively subjects. I contribute regularly to Mirrorlesss Photo Tips, an online blog dealing with the real-world experience of using mirrorless cameras. Formerly I served as a consultant for the College Board’s Advanced Placement Program, publishing articles and student guides in the field of modern European History. I am a graduate of Girls Latin School, Boston University (summa cum laude) and Columbia University Teachers College.
