Storytelling is the oldest of professions. The ability to communicate the themes of young boys causing trouble, the dreamy innocents of a young girl on the edge of adulthood or the dynamics of a family gathering are age-old and universal. The images presented within this exhibit are tales to be unraveled, and are structured in the classical sense of dramatic presentation. Each of these pictures are snaps that capture a moment in which the human forms is poised in timeless narratives which are familiar in all cultures.
As a teaching facility, the Wallace L. Anderson gallery advances learning through lively and innovative approaches that promote the arts to the students of Bridgewater State University and communities beyond the campus.
