2013 was paramount in the rebirth of downtown Las Vegas and simply by attempting to keep our friends up-to-date with all the rapid changes taking shape in our neighborhood, I incidentally captured a moment in Las Vegas history that will be significant for generations to come. This book is a love letter to Las Vegas.
Michael Welsh is a Nevadan Earthling who writes humor, poetry, words of encouragement and songs of gratitude. He was born in Las Vegas in 1977 the youngest of 4 children ( 2nd son), raised on both the east and west sides of town by his parents who separated shortly after his birth. Michael worked in construction during the booming 1990's housing expansion, hospitality in Las Vegas hotels, behind the scenes in festival and arena concert production, reality TV, live award shows and the local music scene. For whatever reason Michael seems to know more about his town than most people you will meet.
