I have put together a collection of all the odd photographs lying around, photographs in albums, stories and excerpts from his diaries to give an idea of his life for any of the family who may be interested. He was a dear kind gentle grandfather - an oarsman, a doctor, army doctor in WW1, car enthusiast, golf course architect, turf expert and he loved the outdoor life. His life is an interesting reflection of how things were in the first half of the twentieth century.
