Over the course of 2010-2012, John Wellington Ennis interviewed and documented street artists in Los Angeles over what would prove to be a particularly vibrant period. While making a film on outsiders to the political process, Ennis came to see street artists in a similar light — how can you reach people when big money is drowning out your voice? How can one person make an impact on the public consciousness? Where else but the streets?
