Southern style is something that can't be bottled up and sold. The South's love for classic design is real and runs deep (sweeping porches with white columns, deep cased openings, wide-plank hardwood floors) and yet we continue to find new ways to reinvent those time-honored elements. The New Southern House is my homage to the South's ability to constantly redefine itself, while holding true to the values we cherish. It is my thank you to my clients, who have - in just the five short years since I've owned my firm - taught me how to design for the modern Southern lifestyle. These are my client's actual homes, design projects I've worked hand-in-hand with them on, and they represent the friendships I've made as a result of that process. I hope I have many, many more years of creating homes that tell the story of my client's lives, all with my undeniably Southern style.
