While still studying photography, I have become increasingly interested in alternative processes involving the darkroom. In this series, I explore the relationship between light and objects and various patterns that are made. These patterns though are fleeting and are only caught as a moment in time. They will never be repeated and I am fascinated with the tiny details that others don't see in their day to day life
Vanessa is undergoing her Bachelor of Photography degree at the Queensland College of Art (QCA), Brisbane. She is majoring in Art Practices and is enjoying the learning curve and the critique of Masters, Grand Masters and lecturers who are well known and currently practising in the Photographic Industry within Australia and abroad. She is an award winning photographer winning silvers in the prestigious Qld and National Professional Photographers Awards. Vanessa was born in a little outback western Qld town and has a passion for photographing the outback of Australia and it's people.
