Cooking With The Common Thread Collective
by The Common Thread Collective
About the Book
The Common Thread Collective is a not for profit that works in developing nations to provide empowerment, income, and economic opportunities for women at risk of trafficking and enslavement.
This cookbook is from our first plant in rural Uganda where the only thing we love more than sewing is cooking! The recipes include delicious takes on classics such as chapati, mandazi, banana fritters, matooke, and Chai. Whether you are cooking over a modern stove or a charcoal stove on a camping trip, you will love these delicious recipes!
100% of profits return to the organization to help further our goals of providing a hot lunch and clean water to every student and community member that passes through our doors. We are a 501c3 and more information can be found at www.thecommonthreadcollective.org.
