Koala and Crow's adventures in the blue sandpit.
by Story by Gillian Cox Illustrations by Cathy Jacobs
Two more unlikely friends you couldn't imagine. Koala was slow and sleepy and spent most of his days resting in a tree. Crow on the other hand was fast and active and loved to fly around the district looking for insects and fruit to eat. They used to meet near the sandpit. It was a big, plastic one, a blue colour and shaped like a shell. It was in the shade under the tree where Koala spent most of his time.
One day the shell takes them on an adventure.
I'm a retired teacher. I have worked at Blackfriars Priory School for 16 years as a Primary school teacher librarian. Now I spend time with my gorgeous grandchildren. I have always loved stories. Harry Potter, Dr Who, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are my favourites. I have read a huge number of children's books over the years. I love a good story and find myself wanting to make some of my own.
