For the past 7 years Kenny Rodriguez has made a name for himself as the photographer of the New York City night scene. With a singular eye, almost exclusively utilizing available light, Kenny's portfolio has become a living history of NYC nightlife. This is due to his quest to find honest moments before his subjects know he's there. What began as a models project documenting artists he respects and parties that lacked a consistent visual voice has become a full time occupation. Kenny is the official photographer to some of NYC's biggest and longest running parties (Freedom Party NYC, Tiki Disco, The Rub, Night People) and his impressive portfolio boast exclusive collections of acts ranging from KRS-ONE and JAY Z to Beirut and Metallica. His long running DJ project extends Kenny's work out of the club for biographical histories of many of his subject's regular lives.
