My firm belief in the benefits of play, as formed through personal experience, has inspired me to study it with my digital camera. The importance of documenting the ways in which we play, in all of its various forms, should not be underestimated. Play maintains a constant and permeable presence throughout the duration of our lives, but at the same time is subject to change from decade to decade, from childhood to adulthood, from photographer to photographer. This is my own representation of play as I have seen it during the winter term of 2014 at Carleton College.
