A collection of longer poems, mainly from the last few years. They show a variety of styles from haiku and haibun, to elegy and myth. Always there is the mind interacting with landscapes and seasons, the mind searching shallows and depths for meaning, searching for a beautiful silence. Illustrated throughout with original artworks.
Brought up in the English Midlands, studied Fine Art at University of Edinburgh, worked as a studio artist in Birmingham for eight years, moved to Devon with wife, Sue. Nowadays, time is passed shuffling between projects in writing, lecturing on many aspects of spiritual well-being, silversmithing, woodcraft and composing ambient landscape music.
