About the Book
The turn of the twentieth century saw a boom in immigration from Italy to the United States of America. Many ended up in New York—among them, the ancestors of the Salvato family.
From New York City to southern Italy,
the Salvato lineage proudly includes the following families:
Vergara (also Virgara)
D.M. Rosner's non-fiction has appeared in The Writer and Writer's Journal magazines, The Writer's Handbook (2000 and 2001 editions), and A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism; she is also author of The China Doll, a picture book teaching children in grades K-3 about their peers with autism. Two of her short stories have won awards, and others can be found in such notable publications as the Dead Promises anthology and the Mensa Bulletin. When not writing or working for Autism Gear, Ms. Rosner can usually be found behind a camera lens. She lives in Florida with her two sons, and far too many cats.
