Anna Tate had the opportunity to spend three pictorial weeks in the Crested Butte mountains photography and riding the Rocky Mountain Breed for which she bring to the pages of her TRUE PEACE series.
At 42, Anna Tate has turned a lifelong hobby and passion for capturing the “free spirit” of us all into her profession. What she has done for fun, three years ago became what this Texan artist does for her living Tate’s love of bright color, unique angles and use of broad-stroke skies as backdrops allows her to create award-winning images. Tate leans toward fine art series photography, but is never limited by the confines of a single genre. She always seeks the “free spirit” that is in all of us. Tate continues to bring moving moments to her growing audience. “It’s as if a large door opens everyday for me to take a picture of what I I have been dreaming about doing for years.” I am truly an example of living a dream into a reality. I find that I am drawn to memorializing anything that I can see freedom in. My work attempts to capture the essence of a time and place – a moment when I can help others to see the free spirit of America and the world.
