About the Author

Ottoman Saul
OttomanSaul Black Mountain, North Carolina
I grew up in the South Florida area of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale - later I spent many years living in the city of New York honing my craft of writing. I was raised in a very conservative, Pentecostal Christian ministry family; I was made aware of the spiritual phenomenon very early on in life. As a child, I witnessed people possessed with demons and watched as my grandfather (the pastor of our small church in Miami) exorcised evil spirits from his congregation. Between the ages of 12 and 14, I experienced a horrific haunting. These were dark years in my youth. My family had moved into a low-income neighborhood, into an old home that once belonged to practitioners of black magic and witchcraft. For two years, my parents and I battled with spirits that tormented my young psyche. Having paranormal encounters after another, I earned the emotion of fear. I coped with my fears as a teenager with creative writing and poetry, thus spawning the author you meet today.
