The Urban Landscape of the Los Angeles River
by Lee Varis
About the Book
A collection of photographs taken over the course of Four days while participating in an Urban Photo Adventures LA River Tour. All photographs were captured with a Canon 1DS mark II within 500 feet of the LA river.
These small pictures represent a very personal visual experience with the urban landscape of various communities adjacent to the Los Angeles river. The entirely man made environment interacts with sky, land and water in many different settings organized by general subject rather than specific location.
