This book includes a collection of photos from my parents photo albums of the family of Joseph Dagenais who ventured from Canada to New Britain, Ct. where he met and married my Grandmother, Victorine Beloin. They raised their family in Connecticut during the depression. Joseph died in 1931 and Victorine in 1941. I wrote My Joseph story (page 79) in a college class in 1980 and then commenced my genealogy research when I retired 15 years ago. The book includes a genealogy and pictures of their descendants, my aunts, uncles and cousins. It also includes a list of last names of cousins on the page, "Are You a Cousin?" I conclude the book with my personal notes of living in the 1930 and 1940s with the Ice Man, Rag Man, along with the Victrola. My children's generation has no knowledge of any of these things. My cousins have enjoyed the remembrances.
