About the Book
In the South East corner of Botswana is a huge area of mopane bush which the first settlers turned into cattle farms. Now that cattle rearing on this land is no longer viable, the bush is being returned to the wildlife. In September 2008 Jonathan Proud travelled to a reserve called Legodimo to work as a conservation volunteer with Projects Abroad. This book is the story of his trip, the extraordinary events that occurred and the people and wildlife he encountered.
