The Cerritos College Art Gallery is excited to debut three brand-new solo installation projects by Hollis Cooper (“Vergence”), Connie DK Lane (“No Place Like Home”), and Meeson Pae Yang (“Vacillate”). Building large-scale environments out of modular units, each exhibiting artist will produce a unique spatial intervention that disrupts the traditional architectural order of the gallery space, variously transforming the standard white cube into an immersive embodied experience.
The Cerritos College Art Gallery presents rotating exhibitions highlighting the work of emerging and mid-career artists. A special emphasis is placed on works that confront challenging and pressing issues in contemporary art and culture. In support of exhibitions, the Cerritos College Art Gallery also regularly hosts workshops, lectures, and performances.
