About the Book
Elena Rego is a writer and photographer committed to creating work that highlights conscious living where it applies to Life Design, Spirituality and Food. Deeply drawn to the cultural patterns we all share with one another across the dinner table, she is the creator and writer for FoodPractice.com, an online publication where she explores recipes, mealtime rituals, sustainable slow food, and rich enticing food photography. Elena has been a Board Member of Slow Food Maui for over 2 years and is currently working as the Managing Editor of Edible Hawaiian Islands. Her interests have also lead to SoulQs.com and ElenaRego.com, two online publications that deal with mindful living, personal development and printed publications. Elena creates her work in the world while living a digital nomads life with her fiancé and life partner of over 10 years, while calling the island of Maui home.
