A black and white analog film project by Markus Holmes that took 26 years to happen.
What looks to be abandoned, is a fully operational grain elevator on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Step inside and look at the marvels of mid 1920's architecture and engineering.
Markus is a Graphic Designer and Photographer based in Ottawa, Canada. With over 25 years in advertising and formally trained at St.Lawrence College in Cornwall with a degree in Graphic Design and Photography. He spends the majority of his time embedded in graphics, print, web, radio and television. Photography has always been a daily requirement, it's also an escape from his daily reality. With the constant evolving digital world, Markus still finds it refreshing to strip down to the basics with analog technology. Wether it be his Nikon F5, ROLLEIFLEX, MAMIYA or Polaroid ProPack or 600 cameras, photography will always remain relevant in his life.
