A lifelong bird lover, Cheryl created this book for the pleasure of putting it together. This book combines photos of more than 60 North American species with brief essays on several topics (courtship, flying, and more) and about 50 short essays on individual bird species (based on observation and researched data). Each of these 50 species has at least one spread of photos focused on that species. (In the index, included among the sample pages, spreads focusing on a specific species are italicized.)
I'm not a professional photographer but a hobbyist; I'm a writer (married in my forties, I was published under my maiden name) and a lover of the beauty of God's creation.
