About the Book
Lurid pulp novel covers, comic books, vintage pin-up girls, rock n’ roll album covers and posters all sound like a teenage boys wet dream. These were the images that heavily influenced Dylan T. Speeg, from an early age when he was a teenager attending The School for Creative & Performing Arts and The Art Academy for college, even to the present day. Looking back on his work has given him a greater understanding and perspective of who he was, and where he came from as a person, as well as an artist. Gil Elvgren, Frank Miller, Raymond Pettibon, Robert Williams and Robert Crumb are the collective supremacy in his artistic sphere.
"Art is dictated by limitations, but I would say my art is dictated by my limited patience and constant need to communicate."
