the pocket guide to ecoprint bundle dyeing [an ecologically sustainable contact print process] on cloth and paper, including guidelines for plant collection as well as an explanation of bio-regional dyeing
I dye cloth and paper using ecologically sustainable contact printing methods [from plants and found objects] working with leaves, flowers, bark, stones, water, minerals, bones, the discarded artefacts and hard detritus of human inhabitation, the local weed burden. I hand sew clothes that are sold through a sweet store in Hollywood. In between times I write poetry and keep the cows on their toes by playing the saxophone. The work of each day literally begins with a walk.
