About the Book
Welcome to the world of FRESH. In the past year-and-a-half, Chicago has come under attack by the graffiti artist. His street installations, fabric prints, and text pieces have consistently appeared throughout the city – from back alleys in Rogers Park to busy intersections in Logan Square – and have adorned the cover of the "Chicago Reader," as well as the walls of the Palomar Hotel, Hubbard Inn, and Gallery Bar, among other spaces. For the first time, the works of the rising artist are collected in a 40-page book, punctuated with thoughts and insights from the artist.
“I see the name FRESH as a vehicle to help counterweight against the commercial urban landscape. In essence, the name strives towards conscientiousness in thought and being. It comes from a human place where what I look to present is a shared moment out of people’s daily routines to commiserate, elate, understand, and laugh.”
