About the Book
Mission Love Seeds is celebrating its 10th anniversary of helping children around the world. Meet the faces that MLS has helped.
Pam Griffin, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, is a graduate of Texas Christian University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. With a degree in elementary education, she taught third and fourth grade for several years and tutored ages 4 to 64 in the 1990s. In 2001 she found the work that makes her happiest — working at The Destin Log newspaper in Destin, Florida. She has won numerous awards from the Florida Press Association in the religious and entertainment categories. Working with Mission Love Seeds, a Destin-based Christian organization that helps others in the Philippines, Haiti and locally, gives new joy to Pam as she sees how the lives of children can be changed for the better. Pam also has 3 books published by Cedar Fort Publishing in Utah — Sounds of Christmas, Christmas Cookies 'Round the World, and Christmas Appetizers. Pam has one daughter, Holly, and four grandchildren ranging in age from 15 to 21, Bailey, Corbin, Cannon and Peyton — her true loves.
