My relation with New York is a kind of endless love story.
My first emotional impact with this city happened when I was 20 years old, emerging from the subway into Broadway where, even if all my senses said "wow", I felt home and I decided I was a New Yorker.
Photography is my way of living, my escape and the way to express my feelings and thoughts. I use my camera to tell stories. I believe that there are three stories in a photograph: the true story of the moment, the story in the mind of the photographer, and the story in the mind of the viewer. Through the lens I try to unveil the feelings and stories behind the obvious and find the right style to portray them. "Photography is a way of making the invisible visible" (Henry Cartier Bresson)
