In November 2008, Paul and Nancy Osgood flew to Tunisia for a brief look at its culture, landscape and architecture. We met old friends and made new ones as part of a Vantage Travel tour. This book is a remembrance of the trip.

Some of the highlights of our two weeks:

- Medinas of Tunis* and Sousse*

- Ancient Roman ruins of Carthage*, Dougga*,
Sufetula and El-Jem*

- Bardo Museum's Roman mosaics

- Village of Sidi Bou Said

- American World War II Memorial

- Dar Cherait Folk Museum

- The Red Lizard train through the Seldja Gorge

- Great Dry Salt Lake, Chott el-Jerid

- The Sahara Desert

- Cave dwellings in the Berber village of Matmata

- Fortified Berber ksar village

- The island of Djerba

- Kairouan* with its Great Mosque
