About the Book
This book illustrates the story of creation from the origin of the cosmos to the evolution of life on earth. Everything in our world ultimately originates from and is the result of the metamorphosis of stardust. These images of creation were inspired by and derived from the colours, shapes and textures made by rust, rivets and crazed running-paint on the metal gates of an old scrap-yard. Detailed macro-photographs provided a 'palette' used to visualize and represent all aspects of nature from the Big Bang to the evolution of life on earth.
