Marieke van der Velden (36, Amsterdam) is a portrait and reportage photographer since 1998.

She is currently working for different magazines, advertising agencies, ministries and organisations in the Netherlands and abroad.

For Unicef, AMREF, CARE she made several reportages in countries such as Afghanistan, Colombia, Uganda, Surinam, Paraguay, Mozambique, Burkina Faso Liberia and Iraq.
