I photograph graphic imagery and simple beauty found in the ordinary things of extraordinary places. "Unexpected" is the culmination of several years photographing the streets of Paris. My work is not the typical imagery you might expect from Paris. Though beautifully photographed by others, quintessential Parisian scenes are not what draw my eye. Through my camera I see light, color, and the geometry of life in an urban setting. By capturing these images and moments, I hope to illuminate the unexpected beauty of things we might not otherwise see.
