About the Book
Maurice Racine (Moe The Toe) has a unique record in CFL history—17 seasons with the Ottawa Rough Riders, five Grey Cups with four victories, a four time All Star and All Canadian, who not only started at offensive tackle in three decades (up to and including his final game), but was for many of those seasons a place kicker and leading scorer. This memoir traces Moe The Toe during his journey from mill town to Lansdowne. He was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in Cornwall (1968), the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame (1984) and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame (2014).
