(a book dummy)
by Mike Wohlwend firstname.lastname@example.org mikewohlwend.com
Mr. Mips' plan to get rich quick selling 13 sips leads him on a fruity journey into the absurd and backfiring, with all the imagery of children's sweet goods advertising.
This is the book dummy I will be sending to publishers to court their interest.
Desirous to make children's books. I am also desirous to harvest more fruit from my tropical plants collection.
Thank you Diana! I appreciate your comments and assessment of my aesthetic aim for sonorousness and silliness-bedded agenda for commentary. Nice to get feed back, I really appreciate it. What would you recommend as an alternative to ma's and pa's as plurals for ma and pa? I suppose oohs and ahs look alright, but I am a little leery of "ahs." Is it just me?

Looks great (fabulous illustrations and lilting rhymes)...and brings up the timely subject of child-aimed advertising (something I find repulsive and unethical). Very catchy and, from what I can tell, well written. One thing though...please lose the unnecessary apostrophes that are sprinkled like salt throughout the pages...just because one adds an "s" to a word doesn't necessarily mean an apostrophe is needed. Remember: only in the cases of possession or abbreviation. Use them sparingly so we don't run out. Ok, stepping down from the soapbox now...; ) Love your artwork! You're very talented. May you go far and prosper...
