About the Book
It's time to take things back... to the future! Chocked-full of acerbic wit, mind/time-bending illustrations, and masterful photography, African Oil American Soil takes a satirical jab at race relations in a world plagued by the hate and intolerance of its inhabitants. Written in much the same vein as material by notable rabble rousers and socio-political cartoonists such as Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, Melvin Van Peebles and Ralph Bakshi of "Coonskin" fame, it is a book brimming with cleverly stitched-together vignettes that read like cosmic pages ripped from some funky, revolutionary, interstellar Afrofuturist manifesto.
