Kiosks and Pay Boxes is a selection of ten images from my current creative research, an ongoing exploration of the built environment, the vernacular landscape, primarily in Texas and Mexico.
In Kerouac’s On the Road, Dean Moriarty was a master at parking and organizing cars on a New York City parking lot. Today most city lots are self-park, payment is often by credit card, and there is no one to look after your car and earn tips.
