Svalbard is a small group of islands about midway between Norway and the North Pole. June 2008, my wife Lydia and I embarked on an expedition to this isolated part of the world. For a week, we lived aboard a ship, traveled from island to island, fjord to fjord and experienced awesome scenery in the land where the summer sun never sets. Snow and ice covered mountains, twisty glaciers squeezing down between the mountain peaks, very unique geology and neatly carved icebergs along with polar bear, walrus, and seals all provided an awesome setting. All prints in this book are large, high resolution, double spread panoramic views of the simply amazing land and seascape.
