Camels, camps and even cavalry. This 2008 trip to some holes in the Holy Land was a pilgrimage by a grandson and his wife, to follow the WWI path of his Australian grandfather - and see what else could be seen.
The trek takes them to people and places that make up today's headlines, the tourist's wish list - as well as filling in family ties to the historic battles of Gallipoli and across the Sinai.
These "Dispatches" were first outlined to a subscriber's blog - and are now made into a colorful book of commentary and 250 photographs including historic archives.
