God's Victorious Shepherd
Too Tough To Quit - A Tribute to Dr. Nick S. Edwards, Sr.
by Sister Sharisse Araina Beasley-Twigg
All we need is the love of God and the love of a good shepherd.
Thank you, Dr. Naylor for your kindness. If the book is good at all, it is all to the glory of God. It was only due to the prompting of the Holy Spirit that it was done. I did it for Mother Edwards, the wonderful and anointed wife of Dr. Edwards, as a surprise gift. I believe God wanted her to have it as an encouragement during Dr. Edwards' illness. I wrote the poem that accompanies the photos awhile ago for during a Pastoral Appreciation.
Dr. Edwards made his transition from labor to reward on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Dr. Edwards was a GREAT man of God. God blessed him to touch so many lives, all over the world. We all miss him but we believe he is at rest. He and that heavenly crowd of witnesses the Lord will bring with him for the rest of us in that great day. And so shall we ever be with the Lord!
Your publications sound interesting. I wish I could read music!
Receiving your message reminded of the promise to myself that I would publish another book. I have not gotten around to it but I am going to find the time to do it this year. Please be blessed in New Zealand!
