Views From The Breakwater
Holyhead Breakwater, Isle of Anglesey.
by Photographs by Paul William Mattock
‘Views From The Breakwater’ is a collection of images reflecting both the strength and the beauty of this phenomenal piece of engineering that is now over one hundred and fifty years old and stretching almost two miles out to sea. This collection of images is of the breakwater itself and of views from the breakwater looking out across the Irish Sea and inland towards the town of Holyhead and Holyhead Mountain from where the stone that built this structure was quarried.
Paul William Mattock has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. After running his own studio in Brighton, East Sussex for fifteen years, he moved to Anglesey in 2001 where he continues to earn his living as a photographer, working with the tourism industry as well as with corporate and commercial clients. In his free time, the beauty of Anglesey offers constant inspiration for less hectic photography.
