In 2008 the Democratic Party chose Denver, Colorado, as the site for their national convention. For a street photographer like myself, the thought was intoxicating
The images in this book were taken during the marches, protests, and rallies in Denver beginning on the Sunday, the 24th of August, 2008, the day before the convention to Thursday, the 28th of August, the last day of the event.

I came across your book by accident since we are both Lehmans. I enjoyed looking at the images and it is nice to be reminded that people still protest and demonstrate in exciting and creative ways. The photographs are engaging and informative. I think I read that the demonstrators were kept some distance from the convention and delegates. It appears that the audience was mostly police. These are hopeful times but there is still much to hope for! Excellent work!
