Spring in Agadir
In the south of Morocco Agadir is a modern port and tourist center. On the one hand, the swell of the Atlantic Ocean on the fine sandy beach, on the other hand, the extreme colors of the fertile Sous Valley. Extreme light ratios of the dusky Souk market and Kasbah, to the sunny state of life. Dusty villages full of movement and calm crystal clear beaches. The Moroccan takes life from the early morning at the auction in the late evening in the nightlife.
Spring begins early in the Sous valley. "For thirteen years it has hardly rained, but this winter the rivers flow again," said Ibrahim our taxidriver in his white Mercedes. We are on the way to the waterfalls of Imouzzer. The valley is full of life. The desert is thundering green, interspersed with flowering almond trees. Ibrahim guide us through the Kasbah and the Souk. The result is a palette of colors, hard to soft pastel shades, by which the vibrant life in Morocco gets extra emphasis.
