About the Book
One - The story of I is a series of Documentary/Art images from David Evans Berry Documentary photographer and artist. The book is a series of meditative images influenced by the Japanese black and white Documentary Photography tradition, taking influence from documentary photographers such as Daido Moriyama and Nobuyoshi Araki amongst others, to create a photo book which captures a certain inner stillness and encourages the viewer to be transported on an inner journey. The Photographs contained in the book are from a series of damaged black and white analogue negatives which were taken in Thailand and Cambodia around 2007. Images included document Ayutthaya and Angkor Wat as well as other Buddhist sights in south east asia.
