In unexpected Bangkok, the photographer’s eye plays on the confrontation of worlds and genders and explores the graphic codes of the city. He benevolently watches the everyday life interfere with a futuristic and gigantic setting. Silhouettes stand out in ghostly shadow plays on graphic backgrounds, and real men merge with printed images.

Signs stamp every instant of life, every situation. Pedestrian walkways, housings, packagings, tattoos, make-ups shroud characters till they intermingle into patterns at the boundary of abstraction. At the bend in the street, a pink feathered boa coils up around a thin ankle, some children dive into the blue waters of a swimming pool, a cat watches a dead mouse across the fence of an imaginary prison, a pair of high-heeled boots lets catch a glimpse of a calf in a flash. Bangkok is a photogenic city, Bangkok is a fast moving city, moving fast, very fast…
