About the Book
The book is mostly in black and white with some colour from slides. I photographed this collection in 1982. This was a journey on a very special gas turbine roll on roll off ship built in Australia. The photographs are of ship board life and work. Everything from the cook to the captain. Engineers and even a shipwright are also part of the tour. I particularly look at the potential for loss of skills in the industry with an emphasis on working life.
