During the summer of 2007, my friend Mary Jarrett asked if I would take some photos of her gardens. I spent the spring and summer months visiting her gardens and taking dozens of photos of her amazing flowers and plants.

This book is a tribute to Mary's amazing talents as a gardener. As a photographer, it was a pleasure to have such a wonderful collection of photo "subjects."
