About the Book
Erin Ryan-Buchanan is a native New Englander who resides in South County, RI. Erin is a graduate of Hallmark Institute of Photography. While attending Hallmark, she studied portraiture and commercial photography and cultivated her interests in macro photography. Her photographic pursuits include extensive work in portraiture, photographing bands, models, weddings and people in their environments. While working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Erin became more intimate with her subject matter, noticing and documenting the subject’s fine details. Her fascination with the rustic New England landscape and all of its historic artifacts has inspired her to eloquently document the texture and effects that the environment has on the objects from the past.
