About the Book
A superb portrayal of the St Patrick’ Day celebration in Greystones, County Wicklow in 2009 by Peter McNiff, writer and photographer. The vibrant mood of the day is captured in a collection of 114 black and white pictures. In 2008, the town’s community spirit was cited in the LivCom competition endorsed by the United Nations as “the best town in the world to live in”.

Peter McNiff, writer, broadcaster, photographer; journalist, Irish Press, Irish Independent before moving to television; investigative reporter, producer, director, anchor and programme editor. He has made several hundred documentary films, and current affairs programmes with RTÉ, and in collaboration with Channel 4 and BBC. Born in Manchester, England he lives in County Wicklow, Ireland. He is a member of Kilmantin Arts and the Irish Railway Records Society.
