About the Book
As I walked into the room I felt the joy of reuniting with something familiar I once saw as a child.
Nature in her richest terms, I kept taking photos as I advanced into the museum, exploring wilderness at the heart of the city.
When I got back to the hotel that feeling disappeared… The idea of contemplating nature is no longer possible so we have to implant man-crafted reproductions.
Artificial memories. In a few years some species will only be seen this way. I have seen most of the species this way... as if those animals would be mythological or extinct.
I kept going to those places I have found some in every city I’d go to: Stockholm, Bucarest, Amsterdam, London , Madrid, and Paris.
Charles Bukowski once said: Find what you love and let it destroy you... We found what we love after destroying it.
