About the Book
Prior to visiting Antarctica in January 2009, I doubt I had been to a place where there has never been war, where environment is fully protected, and where birds and mammals are not afraid of humans. Antarctica is like nowhere else on Earth and offers endless fascinating images. Through this book, I would like to share some of the images that captivated me and will remain deeply bolted in my memory until I return there. I truly recommend a trip to Antarctica to all of you and I ask you to join forces to protect this unique continent so that our children, their children and all the generations to come have the privilege to see and capture the same pictures.
